Sam Hall: I am a former Reuter correspondent and on-air reporter for ITN's "News at Ten", now retired and an artist painting in acrylics (you can see my original paintings for sale at http://www.samhallart.com). My journalistic career took me round the world on several occasions (at lest 90 countries) and gave me a broad outlook on life. I now also lecture regularly on cruise ships as a Destination speaker. My expertise, though, is the Vikings - and the Arctic - I wrote a definitive book on the subject entitled "The Fourth World" (sadly now out of print) as well as a thriller "The Silver Fjord". I have two unpublished books sitting in my laptop doing nothing! So I spend my time either painting, writing new lectures or travelling - not a bad life,really!
